Remember Who You Are

It’s time to speak up for what really matters— who we are, what we stand for, care about, and what we’re willing to give. For too long, we have sacrificed the wrong things, and I know you all feel it too.

When we were children, “they” told us we could be anything in this world as long as we put our minds to it, conveniently forgetting to mention that we could be anything in this world, except free.

My campaign is not just about the city council. This run is a movement for us all to reclaim our humanity and to reinstate the power of community and shared goals. Let’s prove to our children that you can truly change the world for the better – you just have to take the first step, be brave, and honest.

So, I’m taking the first step for all of us. This is only the beginning for us and an America we can be proud of— one that doesn’t bully the less fortunate, exploit the vulnerable, and protect resource-hoarders. I will be that voice like I have always been, and I need your help to amplify our voices to the rest of the world.

Starting with Durham: The heart of North Carolina, the pulse of the entire state, with a history rooted so deeply in community.

Let’s remember who we are, Bull City, and take charge!

What can Durham do for you? That is my only platform. I cannot be bought out, and I will never lose my integrity or let up.
